Antique Thai Gilt Bronze Buddha Statue Seated on Pedestal (MiM)This statue came from a recent Honolulu estate. It is a fine example of an vintage bronze Buddha statue. The statue is clearly an original & genuine a lovely rustic piece. This depiction of the Buddha has him seated cross legged on a high pedestal with his right hands in bhumisparshamudra, his left resting on his lap. A solidly cast piece; weighty yet appears to be hollow. 50% of the gilt has worn off leaving a attractive aged patina. Please see
